| Joe Bigley |
|
 |
Joe moved to Chromo, Colorado in 2003 where he lives with his wife Diane. After taking the Basic EMT course offered by the Pagosa Springs EMS in 2005, Joe realized first that if he didn’t use the skills he had just learned they would soon be forgotten; and second, he was only touching the tip of the ice berg in terms of emergent medicine. As it turns out, Pagosa Springs EMS was looking for part-time Basic EMTs at the time. Since becoming an EMT-B, he has taken an Advanced Medical Life Support class and has received his IV Certification. In addition to Joe’s affiliation with Pagosa Springs EMS, he is involved with Colorado Mounted Search and Rescue and is an Operations Section Chief with New Mexico Search and Rescue. When Joe is not on the ambulance, he can be found working his ranch or enjoying what the four corners region has to offer.
