Training
The Training Division at Pagosa Springs EMS is lead by Larry Escude, the A-Shift EMS Operations Supervisor and Company Training Officer. Pagosa Springs EMS is certified as a Colorado State Training Group and often partners with the San Juan Community College to offer the following courses:
- EMT-Basic
- IV/PASG
- Basic ECG
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS)
- Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)
Our Training Group also offers a variety of community first-aid and CPR courses.
